黎翠英在台灣待了九年，不曾遷移過。 她住在南投的六樓鐵皮屋裡，每天上下五層樓房的家務操勞及看護工作，日夜辛勤，不曾稍歇。只有清晨晾曬衣服是她最自在的時候，旭日初昇，她先看到遠山外的天空一層層亮了，探頭下望，可以看到她種的九層塔、菠菜、辣椒、白菜、和山茼蒿還滲著昨夜的露水。那也許是她最感清澄的異鄉好時光吧？人世的紛擾尚未甦醒，天地都向她綻放。
